iPhone Firmware 3.1.3

Apple has released the iPhone Firmware 3.1.3 for iPhone and the iPod Touch to address a few critical issues. It is to improve the iPhone 3GS battery accuracy, any third-party application crashes and crashing of the software while using the Japanese Kana keyboard.

This update for iPhone and iPod touch contains bug fixes and improvements, including the following:

Improves accuracy of reported battery level on iPhone 3GS
Resolves issue where third-party apps would not launch in some instances
Fixes bug that may cause an app to crash when using the Japanese Kana keyboard

Please do not perform the update if you have jail break your phone as you may lose the ability to jail break your phone again.
