My MAC was not able to loading certain webpages which include FaceBook. This happens on and off but I found out I was not the only one having this problem. To fix the problem, I change my Maximum Transmisson Unit (MTU) on my Ethernet settings to 1400. I was also advised to change my MTU on the router to 1400 but did not do it as loading problem rectified already.
My default MTU was set automatically by the MAC. I shall monitor whether this is really effective for my MAC Book.
