iTunes Store Account

An iTunes Store Account is needed to download free games and applications for your iPhone and iPod Touch. You also need it to purchase songs from the iTunes Store.

Creating an iTunes Store Account
Open your iTunes and click on iTunes Store on the left hand side. Click on the top right "Login" button on iTunes and it will allow you to create a new account if you do not have one.
A Credit or Debit Card is needed to register an account on iTunes Store. All your purchases will be charge to the card. Free Games and Applications will not be charged.

iTune Plus is DRM Free

Now, every song available on the iTunes Store is an iTunes Plus song. That means you get high-quality music with 256-Kbps AAC encoding, making every song you download virtually indistinguishable from the original recording. iTunes Plus songs are all free of burn limits and digital rights management (DRM). So the music you buy will play on iPod, Apple TV, all Mac and Windows computers, and many other digital music players. It’s also easy to upgrade songs you previously purchased from iTunes to iTunes Plus. You don’t have to buy the song or album again. Just pay the 30¢ per song upgrade price. (Music video upgrades are 60¢ and entire albums can be upgraded for 30 percent of the album price.)

Finally we can burnt our iTunes purchase songs to any computers, MP3 Devices and any others without any limits. This is definetly a good news for all music lovers.

Deleting all Contacts from iPhone using Sync

I was trying to delete all my contacts on my iPhone and replace it with the contacts on my Outlook. There was no success and later I finally found a way to do it.

Click on your Devices and select your iPhone or iPod Touch and then select the Info Tab. Ensure you tick on Sync contacts and select OutLook in the drop down box.

Scroll to the bottom in the Advanced section, make sure you have, “Replace Information on this iPhone” for Contacts checked .

Click on Apply and it will Sync with your iPhone or iPod Touch. Now the Contacts on iPod will be deleted and replace with the Contacts on the OutLook in your computer.

How to add Album Artwork?

Many iPod Owners wanted to add the Album Artwork to their music so that they can view it while the music is playing. It is pretty easy and any iPod Owners will be able to do it. The only thing is that you must have the Album Artwork and you can get it pretty easy online by searching it at Search Engines

Step by Step Guide to add Album Artwork

1. Find the songs that you want to add the Artwork.

2. Highlight the songs that you wish to add the Album Artwork.

3. Right Click on the highlight song and press Get info.

4. Click on the Artwork Tab.

5. Click on Add and find the Album ArtWork on your computer and click Open .

6. The Artwork is add to your song and click OK.

7. Synchronize your iPod and the Album Artwork will appear.

Singapore iTunes Store

The Singapore iTunes Store has started operation since 10 July. It is currently serving only iPod Touch customers. iPhone 3G will be launching in Singapore soon. With the launch of iPhone 3G, the store will have more customers. All iPod Touch and iPhone 3G must apply for a iTunes Store Account in order to made full use of the App Store. The App Store has many paid and free apps and games. You may download the apps using your iTunes or your iPod Touch and iPhone 3G 2.0 software. You need to register your credit card in your iTunes Store account to allow you to purchased paid apps and games. Your iTunes must be version 7.7 or above in order to select the Singapore Store Account.
