You do have to install any software to do a screen capture on your iPhone or iPod Touch. It is built in on the iPhone or iPod Touch but not reveal to the users. All you need to do is hold on to the Home Button and press the Power key on the top once. The screen will flash once and the photo will be save to Save Photos album.
